International Student Ministries Canada is searching for a new President to lead our nationwide ministry in its mission to empower international students in Canada to impact the world through Jesus Christ. Our next President will work with over six hundred ISMC staff and volunteers who minister across Canada in over twenty cities and on more than fifty college and university campuses.
The Vice President, Personnel is the member of the senior leadership team responsible to International Student Ministries Canada (ISMC) for the oversight of staffing, training and talent management for the organization.
The Church Connections Catalyst is responsible to fulfill our mission’s sixth strategy in our Vision 2020+ quest to create an ace consultancy in ISM work catalyzing ISM in Canada and globally.
Leadership Development Trainer is a crucial member of the National Leadership Development Team. Working closely with the team, the Leadership Development Trainer will provide training and coaching to ISMC staff to excel in developing their leadership and empower them to train and support others to do the same.
The VP Administration is responsible to the President of International Student Ministries Canada (ISMC) for receiving, stewarding and appropriately disbursing the financial resources of the organization while maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This person is also responsible for meeting the reporting requirements of various government and other agencies as needed for the operation of ISMC. The VP Administration will serve full-time, participating as a member of ISMC’s Senior Leadership Team in the strategizing, planning and execution of ISMC’s mandate and goals. The VP Administration will develop and lead the team of staff needed to fulfill these administrative and financial functions in order to accomplish ISMC’s mission.
Every year, Montreal hosts more than 18,000 foreign students from more than 150 countries. The 2017 QS Best Student Cities survey ranked Montreal the best city in the world for students, placing it ahead of Paris (second), London (third), Boston (eighth), and Toronto (11th). ISMC is looking for a leader who can build up the existing ministry and team. Building relationships and partnerships with local churches and other international student ministries are the a keys elements of this position.
The City Director will recruit, develop, and lead the local ministry team toward fulfilling ISMC’s mission and vision in their city. They play a crucial role in connecting the local team to the national ISMC family. They will lead the city team to discern international students’ needs, develop strategical plans, and ensure the implementation and development of local ministry initiatives and programs. They represent ISMC and build partnerships with local Christian communities and organizations to mobilize Christians to join the international student discipleship movement.
