We seek to love international students unconditionally, partner with local churches in leading international students to discover Jesus through the Word of God, and prepare them to serve God wherever He leads them.
The Campus Director is responsible for running FOCUS Club on McGill and Concordia campuses and coordinating the work with university staff, student union, other student clubs on campus, as well as coordinating and collaborating the work with church partners and Christian community who are interested in partnering with ISMC.

Set up FOCUS Club (Friends of Overseas College and University Students) on campus
Engage volunteers and local churches to get involved in the program, such as helping with meal preparation, ice breaker games, spiritual workshops i.e. Alpha course or Discovery Bible Study
Organize special events on campus, such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations
Facilitate/organize disciple making groups (Bible Studies) on campus
Conduct personal evangelism with international students
Promote the FOCUS Club on Campus
Mentor/work alongside the student leaders
Maintain good relationships with campus staff and leaders from other Christian clubs
Represent ISMC at his/her local church and in Montreal
Show hospitality to international students
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Establish regular times of prayer for God’s wisdom and direction in the ministry
Develop and maintain a team of prayer and financial partners.
Establish a weekly Sabbath
Attend city team meetings
Ongoing training (e.g., ACMI, local seminars, seminary course, ISI online training)
Attend biennial ISMC National Conference

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES:
Proven success in Partnership Development
2 years of experience in ministry would be an asset, particularly in ministering to internationals on university campuses or in intercultural settings
Experience in leading multicultural ministry teams would be an asset
SKILLS AND COMPETENCY:
Excellent relationship building and leadership skills, and able to relate, encourage, and mobilize others
Ability to evaluate people’s gifts and skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and able to articulate ministry vision would be an asset
Well-organized, responsive, and responsible
Computer literate (e.g. competent in utilizing online meeting tools like Zoom or Google Meet)
