We seek to love international students unconditionally, partner with local churches in leading international students to discover Jesus through the Word of God, and prepare them to serve God where He leads them.

SUMMARY

The Candidate Coordinator is responsible to International Student Ministries Canada (ISMC) for the reception and processing of all intern and staff applications. The Candidate Coordinator is accountable to the VP, Personnel (In the absence of a VP, Personnel, to the VP, Administration).

The Candidate Coordinator will be a member of the Candidate Committee, chairing meetings in the absence of the VP, Personnel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accept and process intern and staff applications
2. Conduct pre-screening interviews
3. Forward all applicant files to the VP, Personnel, with recommendations
4. Participate in all Candidate Committee meetings

RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Organize and manage the Candidate Data Management System
2. Attend scheduled staff meetings
3. Submit reports as requested by the VP, Personnel
4. Represent ISMC as opportunity allows
