Uplift: Texted Requests to Pray for International Students is a digital tool which mobilizes Christians in Canada to pray for the mission field at our doorstep: international students.

These hundreds of thousands of international students have come to Canada from some of the most unreached people groups in the world. They are in need of friends, practical help, encouragement, and, of course, Jesus.

We would love for you to commit to praying weekly for the many precious international students in our country–whether that’s lifting up a short prayer for a few seconds when you remember, or having longer prayer times on your own, with your small group or with your entire church–on behalf of our international student friends.

Vision: to see international students being lifted up regularly in prayer by thousands of pray-ers across the country and to see Christians get involved in practical ways in reaching out to these students.

Mission: to raise awareness of the needs of international students and to encourage the Church to participate in the mission field within its reach.
