Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and an 11% administration fee.
Donations are receipted only for staff and projects approved by the governing board. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.
Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may wish to explore other giving options.
Jessica came to know Christ personally as a student herself through the ministry of Cru. After graduating from University she served on staff with Cru for almost eight years; she left staff to get married and move to Canada from the US in 2019. Six years of her time on staff with Cru were spent in East Asia, living as an international student herself and serving and loving the local students on campuses in her city with the hopes of introducing them to Christ.
My ministry with ISMC on the SFU campus focuses on building friendships and trust, providing for practical needs, warm hospitality, and introducing them to their loving Savior through discovery Bible studies, introducing them to local churches and sharing our own stories and lives with them.
