Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and an 11% administration fee.
Donations are receipted only for staff and projects approved by the governing board. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.
Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may explore other giving options.
What do I do in the Ministry?
- Manage social media and create engaging content to promote ISMC.
- Design posters and promotional content for upcoming events and programs.
- Help create a welcoming space where students can connect, explore faith, and experience the love of Christ.
I have always had a heart for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Through ISMC, I’ve had the privilege of serving international students by helping them feel welcomed and supported in Canada. As a designer, I use visual storytelling to highlight the impact of this ministry and engage students through digital outreach.
I truly believe international students are a blessing to our community, and I’m eager to serve them through creative media and meaningful connections.
