Romans 12:4-5 says:
“For just as each of us has one body with many members and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
I firmly believe that unity within diversity is fundamental to our functioning as the body of Christ. My name is Randy Janzen, and as ISMC’s church connections coordinator, my vision is to see the church work together in its diversity to enrich students for God’s honor and glory.
God has given me many opportunities to fellowship and speak into the lives of international students. This includes my parents hosting international students while I was growing up; when in college, I was a speaking partner with international students; in seminary, I formed friendships with international students. As ISMC’s church connections coordinator, I will work with churches to catch the vision of the body of Christ working together as one, facilitating conversational ESL, and training volunteers to have a daily prayer life and be grounded in God’s Word.
Your prayers and financial support will assist me, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and with a team, to help the church see how each member of the body of Christ can play a vital role in making disciples of every nation. What a tremendous way to fulfill the Great Commission!

Over the years, God has led me through different seasons of ministry, rest and secular work. God is now leading me to return to a ministry position as a team member in the large ISMC family (and work alongside my husband and fellow missionary, Randy Janzen). God has given each person on the team different gifts and abilities. I believe I can contribute to our common ministry goal, which is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the nations who have come to us, and to equip them to do likewise when they return home.
Ministry can take many forms, and I am determined to avoid putting God in a box. I am willing to take every opportunity to share my faith with others—whether it is through a planned event such as a Bible study, or when encountering a student in a parking lot. There is no set time or place to share God’s Word!
Thank you for your prayers for myself and for the ministry. God hears every prayer and answers in ways greater than we could ask or imagine!
Thank you also for your financial support. God sees every gift given in secret and He is pleased to multiply it for His kingdom work.
