Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and an 11% administration fee.
Donations are receipted only for staff and projects approved by the governing board. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.
Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may wish to explore other giving options.

Hi, our names are Pinceau (Pin) and Enoch, and we are part of the ISMC team in Toronto. Pin is from Hong Kong and Enoch is from Sri Lanka. We are married and have two girls. We met each other in a student led Bible study group at our university when we were both international students in the UK.
We served with internationals in the UK for twenty years. We were international student chaplains at a large UK university and saw God’s amazing work among many international students from the nations. We have met many wonderful students and supported them in practical ways through friendship, fun, and lots of food in our home. Sharing life as a cross-cultural family with students from various cultural backgrounds and beliefs, and being able to walk along with them in a new country; to pray for them, and sometimes with them, are special moments that have encouraged our own walk with God. God opens up so many opportunities to build genuine friendships, and through them to share the Christian faith and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Developing Christian leaders who become influential in their home countries, or wherever God takes them, is a powerful testimony of international student work throughout the world.
God has since led us to ISMC and to be part of their international student outreach in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We are excited to see how God will continue to reach and minister to international students through the ISMC team. God is already at work among the amazing International students studying in GTA. Pin and Enoch both work together as a team and compliment each other’s different gifting. Pin is a wonderful networker, very pastoral, and loves contemplative prayer, while Enoch loves sports, friendly banter, and trying out new ideas. In all this our two daughters also play an important part, as many young students enjoy the energy they bring to have fun and entertain people.

PRAYER: We would love you to pray for us as we serve God as a family. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:11-12). Let us also know how we can pray for you and in what God is doing in your life.
