National Prayer Coordinator (Montreal)

Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and an 11% administration fee.

Donations are receipted only for staff and projects approved by the governing board. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.

Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.

Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may explore other giving options.

Hello! My ministry at ISMC involves two roles:

1-National Prayer Coordinator
I make sure to pray for all ISMC members because we value prayers and the Bible as foundational. That is one of the eight ISMC core values. In the Bible, many victories occurred because of powerful prayers. God still operates in this way so prayers are essential!

I host a monthly all-staff prayer meeting and additional weekly prayer times for staff. I also plan and coordinate the annual 21 days of prayer and fasting time in January, as well as a prayer walk on campus during the International Student Day in November.

2-City Representative in Montreal
I do my best to reach out to the international students in Montreal. It is not an easy task because they have many other priorities. However, many of them feel homesick, especially in the crisis. Connecting them to build friendships with Christian communities is an effective way to lead them to salvation.

Here are the tasks I help within the ISMC Montreal team:

- - Build friendships with international students
  - Connect international students to local Christian communities
  - Develop partnerships with local churches to reach international students
  - Gather a team of people interested to reach and minister to international students
