Woven throughout Scripture is a thread that calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Who are these neighbors, one might ask? Are they similar to us, coming from places like ours? The parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us that this is not always the case. Those who initially seem most different from us are deserving of God’s love!
One such neighbour is our international student population. In Canadian society, the presence of international students is steadily increasing. In London, ON, at Western University and Fanshawe College, international students arrive to learn, grow, and create connections with Canadian society. However, these students often experience feelings of loneliness and disconnection—living as strangers in a strange land.
International Student Ministries Canada aims to stand alongside these strangers to Canadian society. Through warm hospitality and genuine welcome, relationships are formed between Canadians and international students. Their needs are addressed, and the transformative message of Jesus Christ is shared.
Would you be willing to partner with this mission and support International Student Ministries Canada as a whole, and specifically lend support to me, Jenica G.N.? I appreciate your kind consideration in advance.
