Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and an 11% administration fee.
Donations are receipted only for staff and projects approved by the governing board. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.
Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may explore other giving options.
Our goal is to share God’s love and truth in Christ with international students in Hamilton. We build relationships with students through practical and social helps such as dinners, grocery delivery, ESL, fun events, and educational programs.
Our focus is on helping students learn about God, the Lord Jesus, the purpose of life, and salvation. We do this through conversations, individual and group Bible studies, group discussions on apologetics topics, and inviting students to local churches.
Your financial support will greatly help with various expenses. These include things like travel, office rental space, phone and Internet, miscellaneous supplies, gifts for students, staff training, and possibly staff salary (where applicable and approved by ISMC leadership).
