Field Staff (Vancouver)
Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and a 10% administration fee.
Donations are receipted only for projects approved by the governing board or the national leadership team. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.
Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
Online donations are subject to a 3.5% to 4% transaction processing fee. To ensure the total amount of your donation goes to ISMC, you may explore other giving options.
I started volunteering with ISMC since March 2014 and became an associate staff shortly after. God has taught me so much since then! I grew up in Vancouver and am amazed at the changes God is doing in my city. There are so many international students coming (and more will come), and they all need friendsand community and to hear the Good News!
I’ve seen many young people’s lives transformed by knowing and following Jesus. The Holy Spirit is teaching them to “love, forgive, and not worry about tomorrow”. Our Heavenly Father is uniting people from all over the world with unconditional brotherly and sisterly love.
So many of you have already partnered with me in building this everlasting community together. Many have helped and made many sacrifices by cooking, driving, accommodating, welcoming, connecting, organizing, encouraging, donating, praying, and much more!
I hope for this to continue and for more to come! If you do too, then pray, connect with me, and consider donating towards my monthly salary as associate staff of ISMC.
