India is a big deal to God’s mission. Of its 1.3 billion population, 95.6% are unreached by the good news of Jesus Christ. Of India’s 2,605 people groups, 89.4% are unreached. It is no accident that of India’s 2.1% Christian adherents, Michael Bhatti (Read his full story) comes to us at ISMC to be empowered to impact his Sikh-dominated Punjabi region of northern India.

Michael, who lives in Montreal, takes extra web design and computer programming projects to help finance his home church’s construction of a 2,500-seat church. The church still owes $9,000 of the project’s $40,000 cost (Read his full story). 

While the River of Life Church in Batala, India, is constructed, the congregation of 400 holds services under a gigantic tent.

Fundraising for staff salary goals includes salary needs, ministry expenses, and a 10% administration fee.

Donations are receipted only for projects approved by the governing board or the national leadership team. Designated gifts are used for the purpose for which they are given; when that given need is met, excess funds are used where needed most.

Gifts of $10 or more are acknowledged with an emailed income tax receipt from Canada Helps.
