5-This past November I could not travel to Boston for the Global Missions' Conference at Park Street Church . So, I missed that historic Conference and seeing my long time friends. Also, I missed celebrating my birthday with FOCUS Friends and the WBS Friends, which has become a tradition. However, here in Toronto , my ISMC colleagues, students, and relatives graciously honored my 72 nd birthday with cakes, songs, and a great dinner fellowship at my brother's home. See pictures below. Thank you for your cards and gifts. Praise The Lord.
6-For sometime, I have been praying seeking guidance to donate my collection of Christian books, PSC sermon tapes, used Bibles, etc. Recently, I learned of a new Galilee Bible College in Nazareth , Israel , to train Christian leaders for the Palestinians in the region, and that it needs educational items. A local Mission in Toronto has been collecting such materials to be shipped there. Several of their volunteers came over and took away more than 400 books, encyclopedias, over 450 cassette tapes, 96 National Geographic magazines, and several other educational items, etc. So, contact me if you have such items to donate. 7-At home, I have various projects to work on in addition to my part time ministry. I already began downsizing my files, books, tapes, Bible study materials, household items, etc. I have been gradually giving them away. Then, I have started working on a testimonial, pictorial, biographical book under the title of “The Gracious Hand of God” taken from Neh.2:8,18. It's purpose is to glorify the Lord in His gracious dealings with me and through me, trusting Him to bless all those who meant a lot to me and to my ministry over the forty years of mission service in USA and Canada plus six years in the Middle East . Praise The Lord.
Thank you again for being such caring friends, praying partners, and encouraging supporters. You have meant a lot to me, to my ministry, and I am deeply grateful for your kindness. May the Lord continue to bless you and make you a blessing to many more for His Glory.
