Praise God for another Christmas Season as we celebrate the First Coming of baby Jesus Christ. Then, we look forward with joy as we anticipate His Second Coming. Are you prepared and ready to meet Him in glory or just being too busy for now. Please read Philippians 2:5-11.
Indeed, I am deeply grateful to the Lord for granting me life and strength to serve Him another year among international students. My ministry extends to meeting their spiritual, mental, and practical needs, as much as possible. I am still networking and connecting with former and present students via the internet, phone, personal visits, mentoring, counseling, praying, and even providing some hospitality. Also, I am coordinating the Golden Tutors' program which meets on Saturday mornings helping students to improve their English conversation and Bible knowledge. This past term we had fewer students up to ten in attendance. We thank God for the six volunteer Golden & Friendly Tutors who have served patiently and prayerfully. Tutors meet thirty minutes before classes for a time of devotion, sharing, and praying. Please see below one of their pictures and pray for this outreach. Praise the Lord.
I thank God for enabling me to get through these various challenges during 2009.
1-Though I could not go to Florida last winter the Lord, however, got me through the bittercold of Toronto winter without getting sick. Praise The Lord.
2-Last April, I was enabled to travel by bus to Boston to attend the FOCUS Reunion andcelebrate the 200 th Anniversary of Historic Park Street Church where I served 27 years. Itwas a great joy to see several of my former students who had come from overseas for thisspecial occasion. Praise The Lord.
3-In July, I was able to attend the ISMC ‘s 25 th Anniversary Celebration and Staff Conferencenear Winnipeg . I was glad to see there some of my ISI and ISMC colleagues. The President ofISMC surprised me with a certificate for my ten years of mission service in Toronto . PTL
4-End of September I was shocked by an internet identity theft when my entire e-mail address list and folders were stolen by a scammer who sent out a fake letter to all my contacts soliciting funds for being stranded, desperate in London , UK . I could not communicate with friends because of the lost addresses. It was a horrible feeling. However, on Nov.4 th Yahoo was able to restore all lost items. What a relief that was. Now, I can receive and send messages in both of the e-mail addresses given below. Praise the Lord.
